The Faculty of Dental Sciences partners with the Ramaiah Memorial Hospital and the Ramaiah Teaching Hospital on campus to offer in-patient services for patients with trauma and congenital malformations. It also provides oral rehabilitation services under general anaesthesia. 

FDS’s Department of Oral Surgery works closely with medical and surgical specialties — as well as with other dental specialties — to offer complete inhouse care for dental patients. The Department of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry also treats young children with medical issues or with special needs under general anaesthesia in the Memorial Hospital.
