Prof. OP Kharbanda was Nominated to Chair AICRA Steering Committee on AI in Health Care


Prof OP Kharbanda, Pro Vice-Chancellor Health Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS), has been unanimously by the All India Council for Robotics and Automation (AICRA) to Chair Steering Committee on AI in Health Care. The committee proposes developing various Task Forces in different health domains such as Radiodiagnosis, Dental and Oral Health and its subspecialties, Cardiology, Robotic surgery, Ophthalmology, Public Health, Microbiology and Virology, Histological diagnosis and much more. Scientists, clinicians, and industries interested in AI in health-related applications may share their interests and credentials with him.

Prof Kharbanda chaired and coordinated the Panel Discussions and steering committee on the use of AI in various domains of health care during the Global Artificial Intelligence (GAISA) Summit and Awards organised by All India Council for Robotics and Automation (AICRA) at Vigyan Bhawan New Delhi on 7th-8th October 2022. World’s largest gathering of Artificial Intelligence aspirants and celebrating accomplishments in the AI field. GAISA is focused on real-world scenarios to analyse the various ways AI may influence human lives and industries. Pragmatic Approaches of using AI to the advantage of businesses and using it to foster growth with organisations and communities would be the objectives of discussions held at the summit. CEOs, Business Intelligence, Data Leaders and AI Pioneers from the world’s leading organisations across sectors would gather together at this platform.
